I’ve been aware for awhile of a great list of Agile control measures, well, mostly control measures. By control, I mean that they are measures that tell you how well you are doing at being (or at least doing) Agile. By itself that does not guarantee better outcomes, but it does tell you if you are doing what you promised yourself you’d do when you said, “We want to adopt a more Agile paradigm.” A few measures under the heading Performance are outcome measures, like predictability and quality. They tell you whether the changes to your process are having the desired effect.
Anyway, that list of Agile control measures is from Agility Health Radar. They have a great program and tool to help you measure the items on the list. But the list itself they publish and hand out to people. It’s pictorial though, and I wanted a text list … so here it is. Up to you to figure out how to measure … or go buy their product, it is a good one.
